AndamanBay Bungalow is a Koh Lanta possibility for someone comfortable with a very simple hut-style stay near the sea. Historical accounts make the tradeoff clear: guests appreciated the welcome and natural setting while describing basic rooms and rocks along the shoreline.
What the supplied pictures show
The first photograph shows small pitched-roof bungalows in shade, with the sea beyond. Another shows boats resting beside the water. These images establish a modest coastal setting; they do not justify promises about a private swimming beach or a luxury interior.
The accommodation directory Thailandee gives the address as 44 Moo 2, Saladan. Confirm the current booking name, exact pin and arrival arrangements, since similarly named Andaman properties appear elsewhere on Koh Lanta.
Keep the dates attached to the room advice
Didier C’s February 2023 Tripadvisor stay praised friendly, helpful staff but described the bungalows as very basic and noted worn mosquito nets. They also found swimming limited by low-tide rocks.
Jonuland’s January 2019 family stay similarly enjoyed the quieter natural atmosphere and helpful service while mentioning the rocky beach. That agreement helps explain the type of stay, although neither account establishes today’s room condition or beach safety.
Choose simplicity consciously
Before booking, ask about the room’s cooling, bathroom, insect screens or net and the route from your drop-off point. AndamanBay is more relevant to a traveller seeking a small, uncomplicated coastal base than someone who needs extensive hotel facilities. Check the shoreline locally before entering the water; an attractive photograph cannot answer that question.
