TAT and Nakhon Ratchasima Tourist Business Association are hosting a monthly Mini Light and Sound Presentation within Phimai Historical Park. Phimai Night begins at 6pm with a traditional welcome, then a tour of Khmer architecture, followed by dinner in the park while viewing traditional performances. Next is a dramatic light and sound performance. Return to Nakhon Ratchasima by 7:45pm. Cost is 500 baht. A 20-minute narrative on CD is available for the show in English, Japanese, French, or Thai. Travel Guides : Kukrit's House
M.R. Kukrit's house reflects his character. It consists of five teak buildings, a functions hall and a garden. The houses are antique Thai structures assembled in Bangkok under Kukrit's supervision over twenty painstaking years. The gardens are noted for their Thai bonsai trees and for eastern and western-style sections, all of which Kukrit oversaw for his whole active life. The house contains a fine art collection.

Rafting season is getting a good start at Hin Phoeng Rapids in Prachin Buri. From July 4-8, the river is expected to be gushing currents good enough for wet-and-wild rafting. Travellers making their way to the site by car should hike in another 2km to reach the starting point at the top of the river.
